It was lovely to meet you at this afternoon's kick-off networking meeting.
In case you don't have access, here is a PDF of Jane Francis and I's new paper, just out in Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism (https://cdnsciencepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1139/apnm-2022-0333). The open access, typeset version (with same doi) should be available online any day.
The Discussion has our insights into potential questions to add to future MEX modules, methods for measuring EBF, the timeframe for collection (e.g. preceding 5 years vs. preceding 12 months for food security), etc. Would love to hear any additional thoughts on future improvements to infant feeding surveys in Canada!
EDIT (Feb 10 2023): Updated PDF attached.
Thank Kyle. This is a great article! Questions that I would like to see added to the MEX would be an expansion on examining mothers' exposures to industry violations to the WHO/ International Code of marketing of breastmilk substitutes.
Not sure if anyone else was on the livestream this week from London, UK on the 2023 Lancet series on breastfeeding that was just released- a series of papers on the status of breastfeeding around the globe with a major focus on the impact of commercial milk formula on breastfeeding!! We have a paper under review by the JHL on this topic.
Check out the Lancet papers below.

It was great to see you all today! Thanks very much for sharing this Kyly and just to let you all know, I did receive an email when the post was made. I added Advocacy to the main themes as well. Thanks for the suggestions.
